1.3 megapixels is too grainy

I guess it had to happen. My cell-phone camera does not quite cut it for putting a decent photo on a web-site. It is fine for a general picture, but for a good looking personal photo, the graininess of the picture detracts from the effect you want of a person easy on the eye!

So, I am looking for a 3.2 or even 6.2 megapixel camera as these do exist in Korea, but not in the USA! And they cost a lot more too. Does anyone know why this is?

And then I'll probably be after a video camera.
